We will hold a memorial for Sierra Shuck-Sparer, a well-loved student in the BSPP program and a friend of many of us. Sierra passed away on March 27.

As noted in her online life story, Sierra “inspired her friends, family, fellow cancer patients, and all who followed her five-plus year battle against cancer with her optimism and resolve.”

The memorial will be held in the student lounge, Rich 140, at 2pm. Attendees are welcome to share a memory of Sierra.

Yong In Choi will be giving her Ph.D. Dissertation Defense on Hidden Power in Formalized Structures on May 7th at 2:00pm Est via Zoom https://gatech.zoom.us/my/yonginchoi and in Rich Building Room 242. The committee consists of Dr. John P Walsh (chair), Dr. Mary Frank Fox, Dr. Gordon Kingsley, Dr. Bhaven Sampat, and Dr. David R. Johnson. 

Hi, everyone! Please join us on Thursday, April 28^th at 11:00 am to learn about ways to manage stress and overcome test anxiety with our Mental Health Clinician, Fran Baumgartner. During this time we’ll discuss helpful tips and participate in a relaxation activity. As always, lunch will also be served.

This will be another great event and we hope to see you there!
