1. What do you do?

A better question is, what don't I do? Currently, I am running a data analytics team in the Department of Community Health (DCH) by day.

DCH manages the Medicaid and health benefit plans for state employees. Our 16-person team works to provide the data and analyses that allow decision-makers in the department, legislature, and governor's office to drive healthcare innovation for Georgians. It's crazy busy, but I have a great team of highly motivated professionals.

1. What do you do?

I am currently the academic program manager for the Ivan Allen College Dean’s Office. In this role, I oversee the academic success, engagement, and retention of Ivan Allen students from orientation until graduation. This includes managing scholarship and award programs, planning student-focused events, analyzing enrollment data, and advising our student advisory boards.

1. What do you do?

I lead interdisciplinary teams on sustainability projects, including engineers, scientists, communications, economists, and sales/marketing people. I typically work shoulder-to-shoulder with executives to assess performance, scope projects, conduct R&D, and help implement system solutions.

I am a fellow with the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), one of the largest animal protection organizations in the world. My fellow program is part of HSUS's new initiative to provide a pipeline into the field for early career professionals.

2. What's the coolest part of your job?

I love that HSUS can focus on the bigger picture because of its size: We are involved in a kaleidoscope of animal-related legislation, regulations, ordinances, and more from city to city and across the world.

1. What do you do?

Draft constituent correspondence, support the Chief of Staff and other senior staff, and plan and coordinate events that advance the Senator’s legislative priorities.

2. What’s the coolest part of your job?

Meeting our nation’s officials and helping constituents receive the assistance they need.

3. Why are you passionate about it?

I am passionate about my role as a Senate staffer because I love serving my community and because I believe that public policy can improve people’s lives.
