Graduate Program Orientation

Location: D.M. Smith Building

Graduate program orientation on August 18 will take place in the DM Smith Building from 10am to 3pm. The orientation will consist of speakers, panels, and information pertaining to the Masters Program. Students will get the opportunity to meet with faculty, current SPP students and staff. This is a great chance to get engaged with the program and the university.

Meeting with the Georgia Council for International Visitors

Location: D.M. Smith Room 105

On Monday, June 13th at 9:30am-11:00am in DM Smith Rm 105, the School of Public Policy meets with the Georgia Council for International Visitors! Sixteen visitors from Argentina are visiting Atlanta under the auspices of the US Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program with the theme of "Political, Social, and Economic Issues."

The School of Public Policy will host the final installment of its speaker series of the semester with Daniel Erian Armanios of the University of Oxford. Armanios will present on his paper, "How Does Broadband Connectivity Impact Employment During the COVID-19 Pandemic?"

The event will be held in-person in D.M. Smith 303 and virtually via Zoom.

IAC Lightning Talks: Environmental Sustainability

Location: Price Gilbert Library Theater

Join the School of Public Policy and the School of Economics for the first installment in the Ivan Allen College Lightning Talks series. Each event will feature Ph.D. students and faculty from around the College presenting their research in rapid-fire style, one after the next with only a few minutes per presentation. The first event will focus on environmental sustainability research.
