1. What’s the coolest part of your work?
The coolest part of my work as a circular economy specialist is getting to learn about all of the innovations in the waste and recycling industry. Like, who knew you could use hair trimmings from salons on farms to keep pests away from crops?
2. Why are you passionate about it?
I am passionate about my job because it feels like I am really getting to make a difference. I did my master's thesis on food waste and now I'm in a role where I actually get to help divert food waste from landfills.
