Current Job: Public Relations Manager for Attis Innovations

Responsibilities: Drafting press releases, managing social media, policy & market research, working with local and state government offices to coordinate incentive packages for the company's manufacturing facilities, working with industry associations to influence renewable fuel & biobased materials policy at the state and federal level.

Attis Innovations:  Attis is a renewable fuel and biobased materials manufacturer. With a technology portfolio that is on the cutting edge, Attis is faced with antiquated laws and regulations that inadvertently stunt its potential growth. Helen works to educate policymakers on these issues and advocates for policies that advance the biobased economy.

How PUBP and GT helped: Emphasis PUBP professors put on deliberate writing has helped immensely in preparing timely and succinct deliverables, learning the practical workings of the legislative and regulatory arena prepared me to be an effective actor, technical background from GT helps translate complexities of company affairs to policymakers.

While at Tech: Intern with the Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance, an Energy Fellow for Rep. Sanford Bishop in D.C., and was an Energy Infrastructure Analyst at the C Three Group.
