Biography:

Margaret Burgess is an attorney and Equal Justice Works Fellow with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society.  She focuses primarily on representing victims of housing discrimination in the metro Atlanta rental market.  Previously, she clerked for Judge Amy Totenberg in the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Georgia.  She also interned and worked at Relman, Dane & Colfax, a civil rights firm in Washington, D.C., and before law school, she worked at McKinsey & Company, on a congressional campaign, and at the District of Columbia Government.  Ms. Burgess graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and she graduated from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Economics and a B.S. in Public Policy.
