Please note, each form below will open once phase I registration begins. Waitlists will be utilized, and overload requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Permits for spring and fall will be processed for students with declared School of Public Policy (PUBP) majors and minors during phase I registration.
Permits for non-PUBP majors and minors for the summer will also be processed during phase I registration. Permits for spring and fall for non-PUBP majors and minors will not be processed until phase II registration begins.
Permit requests will not be processed on weekends, holidays, or breaks. Please refer to the academic calendar for specific dates and deadlines.
Undergraduate Permits
Permits will be available from April 14, 2025, to May 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. EST for phase I. If you are in need of a permit for registration, email Jasmine Brown with the Subject: PERMIT REQUEST. The email should include the Course Prefix, Course Number, Course Name, CRN, and your GTID. Permit requests will be answered in the order in which they are received.
During Phase I, PUBP courses will be the only permits processed and priority will be given to students who are School of Public Policy majors. Permit requests submitted by non-PUBP major and minor students will be processed during Phase II. Phase II of registration begins on Aug. 11, 2025, and will end on Aug. 22, 2025, at 2 p.m. EST
Graduate Permits
The Graduate Permit Request form will be available starting Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, through Friday, Jan. 16, 2026 at 2 p.m. EST. Permit requests are processed in the order in which they are received.
