Karl Hausker, senior fellow in the Polsky Energy Center at the World Resources Institute (WRI), joins the School of Public Policy to discuss the critical modeling and design of net-zero emission pathways. Drawing on three decades of experience across the legislative and executive branches, Hausker will examine the intersections of clean firm power and electricity market design.

Hausker previously served as the chief economist for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and as deputy assistant administrator in the EPA’s Policy Office. An expert reviewer for the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, he brings a wealth of experience from his work in research institutions, NGOs, and the private sector.
