The Future of the Humanities at Georgia Tech: A Workshop

The Chairs of the Schools of History and Sociology, Literature, Media and Communication, Modern Languages, and Public Policy invite you to a special event on the future of the humanities at Georgia Tech. This interactive workshop will highlight ongoing humanities research at Tech and engage external experts in a discussion on expanding collaborative humanities initiatives.

Event Highlights

  • Lightning round presentations on current humanities research at Georgia Tech
  • Roundtable discussions with humanities funders, including representatives from the NEH, ACLS, and the Newberry Library
  • Insights from humanities administrators, including deans from MIT and CMU and directors of humanities centers at VA Tech, UT Austin, and U Kansas
  • A collaborative workshop on strengthening the institutional presence of the humanities at Georgia Tech

Breakfast, lunch, and morning refreshments will be provided. Space is limited — registration is requested by March 21.
