Biography:

Charlotte graduated with her B.S. in Public Policy in 2017, and currently serves as a Professional Staff Member on the United States Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) in Washington, D.C. In her current role, Charlotte works on the public health team for Ranking Member Richard Burr. This involves planning hearings, drafting legislation, negotiating bills, and collaborating with healthcare staffers for other Senate offices on various priorities in the public health space.     

Prior to this role, Charlotte worked as a Legislative Assistant to Senator David Perdue. She was the lead staffer and advisor to the Senator on health care, aging issues, education, veteran’s affairs, and issues related to the Food and Drug Administration. In addition, Charlotte represented the Senator at meetings with various interest groups and events in the Washington, D.C. area.  During her time at Georgia Tech, Charlotte completed a number of internships in government affairs, including with GeorgiaLink Public Affairs Group at the state capitol and with General Motors in Washington, D.C.
