Overview

After graduating from Georgia Tech with a degree in Building Construction and a minor in Pre-Law in 2008, Katie Tinsley attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  She started her career in Orlando, Florida as an associate in a large law firm and focused her practice in general commercial litigation and construction law.  In 2018, Katie left private practice and continued her legal career as in house counsel for a large general contractor where she enjoys working alongside the client to reach corporate goals while balancing the legal risks.  Katie enjoys giving back to the Georgia Tech community; she has served on the Young Alumni Council, the Building Construction Advisory Board, and the Mentor Jackets program.  Additionally, Katie has enjoyed her time teaching GT 1000 and, most recently, Judicial Process.
