Overview
Mohona Ghosh is a PhD student studying Public Policy with a concentration in Information and Communications Technologies. She is interested in the development of AI policy and governance structures, specifically in how these policies address the role of AI systems in cybersecurity. Her undergraduate background is in Computer Engineering with minors in Mathematics and Cybersecurity.
Currently, Mohona is researching the applications of Principal-Agent Theory to agentic AI systems. She is also using econometrics methods to model the impact of defense spending on innovation in the United States. Her previous research includes work on AI fairness, cyber red-teaming for AI systems, and threat assessment for ICS/OT devices.
