Interests
Teaching Interests:
My teaching interests focus on environmental and energy policy, cost–benefit analysis, and applied statistics for public policy. I am particularly interested in teaching courses that help students rigorously evaluate environmental and social policies using data, economic reasoning, and causal inference.
Research Interests:
My research examines energy and environmental policy through the lens of applied public economics, with a focus on electricity markets, energy affordability, and climate-related social policy. I use historical and administrative data and quasi-experimental methods to study how policy design and institutional context shape energy prices, distributional outcomes, and resilience, particularly for low-income and vulnerable populations.
