Bijesh is an Applied Economist. His research focuses on the economics, sustainability, climate change, and policy aspects of the agriculture and energy nexus and technological innovation to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions. At Georgia Tech, his research is focused on understanding cost reduction mechanism and economic impact of various sustainable aviation fuel technology pathways in the US. Besides, some of his most recent works are focused on understanding how solar developers and farmers behaviors and federal government policy impact adoption of agrivoltaics technology which collocates solar energy system with agricultural enterprises in the US. He is also interested in developmental and political economics.
