Moe Kyaw Thu is a Ph.D. student at the School of Public Policy, with a minor in Urban Analytics. Concurrently, Moe is also pursuing dual Master's degrees in Computer Science and Statistics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In general, his research analyzes the intersection between emerging technologies and public policymaking. In particular, his work involves around using patent databases to analyze innovation trends, technological diffusion, and the regulatory implications of court cases. His interdisciplinary approach combines computational and statistical methods with policy making to address innovation challenges.
