Overview
Maisunath Maliha Amin is a policy scholar whose research focuses on climate resilience, energy justice, and the social impacts of environmental hazards. Her work explores how environmental risks are distributed across communities and how data-driven approaches can support more equitable and sustainable policy decisions. She has interned with organizations such as the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and NASA, where she worked on projects related to urban heat risk, carbon emissions, and wetland vulnerability, applying geospatial and analytical methods. Through her research, she aims to bridge the gap between environmental data and policy, with a particular interest in advancing solutions that address both climate challenges and social inequality.
