The 8th Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy to be held on October 14-16 2019 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. To be followed on the afternoon of the 16th by: SciSIP PI conference Advanced IP Analytics for Research Workshop
and on October 17th: 9th annual Global TechMining Conference.
The Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy provides a showcase for the highest quality scholarship from around the world addressing the challenges and characteristics of science and innovation policy and processes.
- Where do science and innovation fit in global dynamics today?
- Should policies stoke innovation fires as the engines of growth or direct them to solve environmental challenges?
- Is technology-based industry creating and sharing prosperity?
- How will it affect the future of work?
Questions like these will animate the debates in Atlanta this October.
Spanning two and a half days, the conference will include plenary sessions reflecting different facets of the science and innovation system, presentations of well-developed research, and an early career poster session.
