Aaron Levine, Assistant Professor in the School of Public Policy, has been appointed to an Institute of Medicine Committee that is tasked with evaluating the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM).
Specifically, the committee will assess CIRM's programs, operations, strategies, and performance since its inception in 2005. The committee held its first meeting in October 2011 and will hold four additional meetings in 2012 before producing a final report near the end of the year. The next two committee meetings will take place in California, and the final two will be held at the National Academies building in Washington, DC.
