Overview

Tammya Ayu Purnomo is a 2nd year master's student in The School of Public Policy. After graduating from one of Indonesia's top three universities at age 20, she worked for the Government of Indonesia, focusing on international climate change negotiation and environmental policy. She collaborated with international non-governmental organizations and multiple countries in bilateral partnerships to tackle environmental problems through proper solid waste management, land conservation, and carbon pricing. In 2017, she was appointed as the Vice Secretary-General of ITB Environmental Engineering Alumni Association (Ikatan Alumni Teknik Lingkungan ITB). With a strong environmental background, complemented with experience in the public sector, Mya aspires to ensure an equitable transition toward sustainable development.
