2017 Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy

Held in conjunction with the 7th Annual Global TechMining Conference, October 9, 2017 in the Global Learning Center at Georgia Tech. The Atlanta Conference on Science and Innovation Policy provides a showcase for the highest quality scholarship addressing the multidimensional challenges and interrelated characteristics of science and innovation policy and processes.

The Conference attracts researchers from more than 35 countries and features plenary talks from:

Noshir Contractor: Jane S. & William J. White Professor of Behavioral Sciences and Director of the Science of Networks in Communities (SONIC) Research Group at Northwestern University. He has extensive expertise in the study of dynamically linked social and knowledge networks in a wide variety of contexts including translational science and engineering.

Robert Atkinson: President of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) and has served on Presidential advisory boards under three administrations. He has long experience in shaping the debate and setting the agenda on a host of critical issues at the intersection of technological innovation and public policy. His talk is entitled: A New Era in R&D Policy?
